Ferris Pulls Nagle, But Not Enough ... Broncos Win

Bulldogs Pull Goalie For Extra Skaters

BIG RAPIDS - Ferris made a valiant attempt at a comeback, after spotting Western a 2-0 lead on the scoreboard.

Although the Bulldogs picked up their level of intensity, particularly late in the third period, it was unable to climb out of the two-goal hole.

Ferris came up on the short end of a 2-1 Central Collegiate Hockey Association decision to Western Michigan as Ferris falls to 9-10-4 overall and 6-7-2 in the league standings.

Now, the Bulldogs will need to find a way to bounce back and score a victory in the second half of the series as they make the trip to Kalamazoo to face the Broncos in Lawson Ice Arena with the puck scheduled to hit the ice at 7:35 p.m.
