Missed Opportunities Hurt Ferris

Bulldogs Twice Cut Deficit To Five, But No Closer

BIG RAPIDS - Ferris has been unable to convert on some opportunities and Ashland has roared right back to near where it was at the end of the first half when it led by 17 points.

Bulldogs have missed a number of layups that have killed their momentum. Ashland is now back up 73-56 on the scoreboard with 5:30 to play.

Ferris has had its chances, but too many missed layups (plus some good long-range shooting from the Eagles) has pushed the lead up to 20 points (76-56).
