The Hockey Skill Center Returns This Summer

Oh yeah, it’s back. The Ferris State Hockey Skill Center returns this summer to help our campers meet the increasing demand for skilled players based on a strong foundation of fundamental/individual skills. Through a variety of on-ice and off-ice activities, the Hockey Skill Center works to improve a player’s fundamental skills in preparation for next season. Campers who attend the sessions of the 2009 Ferris State Hockey Skill Center will get a chance to check out our newly-renovated Ewigleben Ice Arena – the home to Bulldog men’s ice hockey.

During the hot summer months, there are few better things to do than to be indoors in the cool ice arena while sharpening your ice hockey skills. Kids are encouraged to come back and enjoy what the Ferris State Hockey Skill Center has to offer: Outstanding coaching, cutting-edge on-ice instruction, nurturing off-ice attention, upgraded facilities and all this in Big Rapids – a family-first community.

For specific camp questions, call the FSU Summer Camps Office at (866) 950-2267 or e-mail FSU Director of Hockey Operations Dave Cencer at cencerd@ferris.edu.
