Nationally-ranked Ferris Softball Team Wins Two More

Bulldogs Cap A Great Weekend Of Softball
The good times continue to roll for the Ferris State University softball team - the top-ranked NCAA Division II team in the Midwest Region. The Bulldogs, ranked eighth in the nation, earned a pair of wins on Saturday afternoon against Hillsdale College by scores of 6-0 and 9-7 at the FSU Softball Field on Saturday.

In game one, the Bulldogs were pretty impressive from start to finish in all three phases: defense, hitting and pitching. Game two was an especially impressive win as the Bulldogs had to rally from a large early deficit to get its offense in gear and claim a gutsy two-run win over the visiting Chargers. With the latest wins, Ferris improves to 26-4 overall and 12-0 in the GLIAC.
The Bulldogs have won 15 of their last 17 games and nine of their last 10 contests to date as they prepare for a long week of road games.
