Bulldogs strike early vs. SVSU

Harrington, Bruntjens get Bulldogs going early

MIDLAND - The Ferris State University Bulldogs are off to a red-hot start in their second-round game against Saginaw Valley State University. Second baseman Amanda Harrington smacked a solo home run over the center-field fence. Pitcher Holly Bruntjens later smacked a two-run double for a quick 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Saginaw Valley pulled starting pitcher Stacy Kraatz from the circle.

Only time will tell how the change of pitchers will impact SVSU. One thing is for sure, however, SVSU has the kind of firepower it takes to bounce back.
