BIG RAPIDS - A group of Ferris State University students did their part to help put the name Rube Goldberg on the map.

Now, Ferris will have an opportunity to relive the magic of that 2007 Rube Goldberg National Championship team that defeated perennial powerhouse Purdue University and set a Guinness world record in the process.

Come check out the documentary "MOUSETRAP TO MARS" for a closer look at how a group of Ferris State University students built the world's most complex machine to perform a relatively simple task.

The documentary will be shown from 6 to 8 p.m. in IRC 120 on Dec. 3.
