Progress Continues For Ferris State University Renovation of Old Grand Rapids Federal Building

GRAND RAPIDS - Here is an article posted on the WOOD TV8 Web site about the work of the city of Grand Rapids, Ferris State University and Kendall College of Art & Design to bring life back to the old Federal Building in downtown Grand Rapids.

Here is an excerpt from a story written by Joe LaFurgey:

It served the federal government for decades.

And now the former Federal Building in downtown Grand Rapids, known to many as the old post office, is about to get federal funds for it's next life.

The building, which last housed the Grand Rapids Art Museum, was turned over to the city when the new art museum was built.

Ferris State University, as part of their partnership with Kendall (College) of Art and Design, has since moved in, making it part of their combined downtown campus.
