Robert Barnum's 125th Sculpture Dedication

BIG RAPIDS - Robert Barnum's much-anticipated sculpture, honing the 125th anniversary of Ferris State University, is scheduled to be dedicated on Friday, May 7, at 11 a.m. in Lot 2 behind the Swan Building and Johnson Hall (Ives Ave.) on the Ferris campus.

The sculpture is a presentation to Ferris by the Festival of the Arts Committee, and is a collaboration between Barnum and students from several programs including Welding Engineering Technology, Surveying and Barnum's Fine Arts
classes.

Barnum is a professor of Fine Arts and Resident Artist at Ferris.

Refreshments will be served as part of this unveiling and everyone is encouraged to take time out of their schedule for this historic moment to celebrate the 125th and the arts.

Anyone with questions is encouraged to contact Mary Kay MacIver at (231) 591-3739 or via e-mail: maciverm@ferris.edu
