Take 10 for 2010: Census Rally and March

BIG RAPIDS - On Wednesday, April 7th, at 11 a.m. on Ferris State University's Campus Quad, everyone is encouraged to come out and show support for the 2010 census.

It is a common misconception that students are counted by their parents in their hometown, when in actuality they count right here at Ferris. The census considers a person's permanent address the place that you spend nine months out of the year.

Student Government, the Office of the Vice President of Student Affairs and Big Rapids City Hall will host an informational rally and march in order to spread education and awareness regarding the 2010 census.

Specialists will be present to answer any questions.

Don’t forget to pick up some freebies too! We hope to see you there.
