Images From Ferris State University's Entry In The Cherry Festival Parade

Ferris State University was well represented in Traverse City as representatives engaged local alumni and friends as a participant in the 2010 DTE Energy Cherry Royale Parade on on July 10 as part of the 84th National Cherry Festival.

Ferris' participation, previewed in a News Services story, met with rave reviews during one of the oldest and most prestigious parades around.

(Above) Voelker Implements out of Lake City graciously donated a truck and 20-foot flatbed trailer for the parade! Bill Voelker is a proud alum - go Bulldogs!

(Above) The fabulous Key West Permafrost Blues Band performed the Ferris Fight Song, Brown-eyed Girl and House is a Rockin' during the parade - and the band is mostly composed of Ferris faculty/staff/alums - how cool is that?!
