Video Highlights Of Tim Skubick's Appearance At Ferris State University

People are gearing up for the Nov. 2 election as voters work to get informed about the people and the issues that will impact their lives.

As part of an effort to make Michigan voters more knowledgeable about the candidates and the issues , Ferris State University called in one of the best authorities in the state on Michigan politics. Tim Skubick was on campus Oct. 19 to talk about state politics, voters and more. A good-sized crowd of community members, local politicians, faculty, staff and students were on hand in a College of Business lecture hall for Skubick's presentation.

Skubick, who knows Lansing inside and out as a senior reporter knowledgeable about state politics, has enjoyed going right to be people at the local levels with his visit to Ferris. He has served as anchor of the weekly public TV series “Off The Record” since 1972 and has covered Michigan government and politics since 1969.

This free event is sponsored by the Political Engagement Project, the Big Rapids Pioneer, the Ferris State Torch and the Mecosta County Chamber of Commerce.
