Tombstone Project Aims To Raise Awareness On Domestic Violence

“TOMBSTONES” bearing the date of birth, sex, death and stories of victims of domestic violence during the past year in the state of Michigan will be set up in the north end of Ferris State University's Campus Quad. The display started Monday, Oct. 11, and will be up through Oct. 25, the day of the “Take Back the Night” rally against domestic violence.

The tombstones will be on display from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The goal of the display is to raise awareness of the seriousness of domestic violence for Michigan residents and Ferris students. Domestic violence remains a serious problem that requires proactive measures to stop the violence and protect our communities.
