Campus 5-Star Event: Marc Elliot ... What Makes You Tic?

Marc Elliot

Marc Elliot
knows the importance of understanding people's differences. He was born with a rare disease that left him with virtually no intestines, and at age nine, he developed a neurological disorder called Tourette Syndrome.

These days he is inspiring audiences all across the country by sharing his life story to convey the value of tolerance and the basic attitudes and behaviors that allow it to flourish. Marc will bring his inspirational message to Ferris State University on Thursday Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. in G. Mennen Williams Auditorium.
Marc's inspiring speech, “What Makes You Tic?” is loaded with timely humor, powerful anecdotes and fundamental lessons of tolerance to encourage audiences to “Live and Let Live,” leaving audiences motivated, better-informed, and reflecting on their own lives. Marc graduated from Washington University in St. Louis and connects easily with audiences of all ages. He is now based out of Boston.

This Entertainment Unlimited event is free thanks to student activity fees as allocated by the Finance Division of Student Government. Anyone with a disability who needs special accommodations to attend this event should contact (231) 591-2610.
