Booktalk and Signing with Todd Fleming Davis and Edward Morin
In honor of National Poetry Month, Todd Fleming Davis and Edward Morin will be visiting Ferris State University April 11 for book discussions and autographs. The book talk and signing will be held at Great Lakes Book & Supply on 840 Clark St. in Big Rapids at 4 p.m. There will be a reading at ArtWorks, 106 N. Michigan, starting at 7:30 p.m. Davis is the author of three poetry books including: The Least of These, Michigan State University Press (2010) Some Heaven, Michigan State University Press (2007) Ripe, Bottom Dog Press (2002) Davis’ poems have been featured on the radio by Garrison Keillor on “The Writer’s Almanac” and by Marion Roach on “The Naturalist’s Datebook”, as well as by Ted Kooser in his newspaper column “American Life in Poetry”. Morin’s poems include: The Dust of Our City (1978) Labor Day at Walden Pond (1997) Morin’s poems have been published in multiple sources such as the Hudson Review, Michigan Quarterly Review and Windsor Review. This event is being put on by The Michigan Poet, ArtWorks, Big Rapids High School and Great Lakes Book & Supply.
