Get The Word Out For Student Organizations To Incoming Ferris Minority Students

Student organizations at Ferris State University that are interested in getting the word out to incoming minority students can take advantage of a golden opportunity.

Leaders of student organizations are encouraged to sign up for a table to be represented at "Get Acquainted Day." This important program is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Rankin Student Center Dome Room.

The annual event is hosted by the Office of Multicultural Student Services as an opportunity for incoming minority students to meet and greet as they learn about registered student organizations and campus community support areas.

The event includes food and music as well as back-to-school giveaways. The activities are free and everyone is invited to attend.

For organizations to reserve a table, contact OMSS by phone at (231) 591-2617 or email Michael Wade at or stop by the office in FLITE 159.

Be sure to leave the RSO/department name, group's contact name, phone number and email.

Tables are limited and available on a first-come-first-served basis.
