"Us vs. Them: Images of Separation", by Ferris State's David Pilgrim

The presentation is called, quite simply: "Us vs. Them: Images of Separation."

Using images from the Jim Crow Museum of Racist Memorabilia, Ferris State University vice president for Diversity and Inclusion David Pilgrim discusses how contemporary objects and images serve to promote the stereotyping of African Americans, Jews, women and other groups.

This event takes place on Wednesday, Aug. 31 at 6 p.m. in the Rankin Student Center, Dome Room on Ferris' Big Rapids campus.
