College of Arts and Sciences Interim Department Head Announcements

Fritz Erickson, provost and vice president for Academic Affairs, has announced that Trinidy Williams has accepted the appointment of Interim Department Head for the Department of Humanities and that Sandy Balkema has accepted the appointment of Interim Department Head for the Department of Languages and Literature.

Strasser Named Interim Dean of Ferris' College of Arts and Sciences

Fritz Erickson, provost and vice president for Academic Affairs, has announced that Karen Strasser has accepted the position of Interim Dean for the College of Arts and Sciences at Ferris State University effective July 5, 2011.

"I appreciate Karen’s willingness to serve in this very important position," Erickson said in his announcement. I look forward to working with Karen and the faculty and staff as we move the college forward during these important times."

Now is the time to sign-up for an orientation with FERRIS STATE UNIVERSITY!

Pancakes with the President (May 2)

Take a break from studying and relax, while eating delicious PANCAKES with the PRESIDENT.

Pancakes will be served in the Westview Dining Center at 11 p.m. on Monday, May 2.

This is an opportunity to take a break and meet informally with members of the University community.
