2012 MLK Celebration Week and How to get Involved


As the world celebrates the legacy, history, and significance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Ferris State University will acknowledge him throughout a weeklong celebration of events.
Each event reflects Dr. King’s work through efforts of making society better by educating, encouraging and engaging on issue of our time, and through service.   
 The 2012 MLK Celebration theme is “Carrying on the Dream.” The list of events below display how you can carry on his dream.

Please Note: The MLK Service Project is a collection of Non-perishable food items as well as other goods and items to benefit the Wise Shelter and Project Starburst. Donations can be dropped off in the OMSS Office, FLITE 159, the Student Leadership and Activities Office, Rankin 164, or in any of the Residential Halls.

You can get involved with carrying on Dr. King’s dream through participating in events throughout the week.
