Habitat for Humanity hosts Rockin’ The Rooftops Concert Auditions

Habitat for Humanity is hosting auditions for their Rockin’ the Rooftop charity concert on March 2, from 7p.m. until 10p.m. in the Rankin Dome Room.

They are seeking bands and solo artists to participate in the third annual Rockin’ the Rooftops charity concert.

“This is the third year that Habitat for Humanity is holding our Rockin' the Rooftops Concert and it has been and we are hoping will still be our largest fundraiser of the year,” said Katey Way, Event Coordinator. “We are always pleasantly surprised at the turnout of our concert and how many students stop by to support us. We look forward to seeing an even bigger crowd at this year's fundraiser.

They ask that students who wish to participate bring their demo tape or give a live audition.

“Not only is this concert a great promotional opportunity for local artists, but all the revenue will go towards a good cause,” said Way.

The official date for the Rock’ the Rooftops Charity Concert is Saturday, March 31 from 7p.m. through 10p.m. in the Rankin Dome Room.

If you can’t attend the audition you may email your demo to Katey Way,, and please contact her for more information about this event.
