The Vagina Monologues Celebrate a Decade of V-Day at FSU

Tonight, come support the movement to stop violence and abuse towards women with Ferris State's 10th annual performance of Eve Ensler's, "The Vagina Monologues" at Williams Auditorium at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

The performance will make you laugh, make you cry, and most importantly, make you think. Twenty students will perform monologues that come from real women that Ensler interviewed in 1996.

The event is $5 for students with ID, $10 for the public, and all proceeds will go towards the Women's Information Services, Inc. in Big Rapids -- a women's shelter that provides support for victims of domestic violence. Since the event kicks off Ferris' Women's History Month, the first 30 students with ID will get a free ticket courtesy of the Office of Multicultural Student Services.

For more information about the event, check out the Ferris Vagina Monologues Facebook page, here.
