Summer Camps are Beginning!

As the summer continues on, Ferris State is going to be hosting a variety of summer camps.

Hundreds of young students will take to Ferris' campus to get the feel of different athletics and  academics here at Ferris.

If you see them, be sure to give them a warm Bulldog welcome!

Summer Orientation

Orientation begins on Monday, June 17, which means Ferris State University will be welcoming about 2,000 new students to campus. It is a great way to meet current students on campus, new students, and become a part of the Ferris family prior to the first day of classes. Students will also get the chance to sign up for classes and talk with financial aid representatives to make sure everything is set for the first day of classes on Monday, August 26.

For those students that may not know what they want to major in, orientation can seem like an intimidating experience. Fear not, there are many different tools Ferris has provided to help you figure out what path is right for you. There will be faculty and staff available to talk with as well as educational counselors. For more information on orientation visit http://www.ferris.edu/admissions/orientation/.

Masselink and Carlisle Halls Come Down

As the summer continues, so does the demolition of Masselink and Carlisle halls as part of the University Center renovation project.

With Masselink almost completely gone, demolition crews will soon start on taking down Carlisle, as well. This is history. If you want to see the continued progress of this project, like Ferris State University on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.

Summer Internships

A large part of any Ferris State University curriculum is completing an internship. It gives great real world experience, gets you out of the classroom, and helps you gain great contacts through networking. Each summer we feature some interns and show what experiences and knowledge they are gaining from completing their internships. Are you currently working on your internship? Let us know and we might feature you next. Help other students get an understanding of what to expect and how important this experience is. Send us your information via a Facebook inbox message or by email at newsservices@ferris.edu.
