FSU Community Band plays at Medical Center Block Party!


Today the FSU Community Summer Band will be playing at the Mecosta County Medical Center Auxiliary Block Party. The Block Party is to support the Health Sciences scholarships. It will take place at Centennial Park behind the Medical Center and goes from 5-8 p.m. The band will go on at 7 p.m. There will be food, games and music. Come on out!

Ferris Provost Erickson Discusses His Definition Of Diversity

FSU Community Summer Band




Looking for something fun to do? The Ferris Community Summer Band will be performing the "It's Good to be Back Home," showcase Wednesday, June 19 in the Band Shell at 7 p.m.

Can't make it? Well you are in luck. On Thursday, June 20 they will showcase "A Good Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social Concert" at 7 p.m. at Centennial Park.

Celebrating its 48th season, this series of outdoor concerts is free to the public and features a very enjoyable variety of musical styles and will also showcase the talents of individual local high school, university, community, and professional musicians.

First Annual Bulldog Bike Tour


Ferris State University will host the 1st annual Bulldog Bike Tour on June 29th to help support student scholarships. Routes with varying lengths are available. Explore the beauty that Mecosta County has to offer and support a good cause. Map out your route on mapmyride.com. Online registration closes Thursday, June 20 at midnight. Registration is $70 per person, which includes a post-ride meal if registered on or before June 20. Day of ride registration will be available starting at 7:30 a.m.

A post ride afterglow will be held at Cranker's Restaurant and Brewery in Big Rapids beginning at 3 p.m.
