Walk for Warmth Kick-Off Event

The Walk for Warmth Kick-Off event will take place on Saturday, March 1.

The ceremony will be held at the University Recreation Center (URC).  There will be refreshments, entertainment, prize giveaways and more.  A 1.5 mile walk-a-thon will follow the kick-off, winding through campus and ending back at the URC.

All funds from the walk-a-thon will benefit the Emergency Utility Assistance Program in Mecosta and Osceola counties.

Any time working toward this cause, including fundraising, volunteering and walking, is eligible for community service hours.
