Ferris State University's Summer Camp Presents Learning with LEGOS

All About Learning - Lego Camp

Ferris State University is hosting camps facilitated by All About Learning Inc. instructors. All About Learning is based in Sparta, Mich and strives to create better futures by offering classes for school age groups (K-8) that focus on STEM learning.

Learning with LEGOS presents students with the opportunity to participate in a hands on learning experience while building creativity and becoming educated on critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, agility and adaptability, curiosity and imagination. concepts that meet the National Science Standards.

Kids don't want to take part in educational learning over the summer? No problem. At Ferris' Learning with LEGOS camp children will expand their minds through fun projects that they can be proud to bring home to share with the family. Students are also given a special take-home project at the end of each camp to continuing their learning experience.

Reading and Rhythm Celebration Set for Friday, June 20

Check out this Ferris State University press release about the Reading and Rhythm Celebration:
Area families are invited to the fourth annual Reading and Rhythm Celebration for food, free entertainment and fun on Friday, June 20 from 3 to 6:30 p.m. in College of Business, Room 111, and the IRC Connector. 
The Reading and Rhythm Celebration is designed to encourage kids to read during the summer months and to make reading fun for families. The event is sponsored by Ferris’ Students with Children and Keys to Degrees single-parent programs, in conjunction with Great Start Collaborative of Mecosta and Osceola County and the university’s Tot’s Place Child Development Center.
